"The tables contained in this bulletin give for the first time in the Canadian Census a complete analysis of the nationality of the people, cross-classified by birthplace and country of allegiance. The population is primarily segregated into three classes: (a) Canadian Nationals, (b) British born of less than five years residence, and (c) Aliens"--p. [1].
