"In the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) the Dynamic Factors Identification and Analysis-Revised (DFIA-R) component of the Offender Intake Assessment (OIA) assesses the criminogenic needs of all offenders on seven key domains. Research has demonstrated that the former version of this tool (the DFIA) reliably predicted outcomes for men, women, and Indigenous offenders (Brown & Motiuk, 2005).
