"A computer program is described, written in the BASIC language, which performs search-and-retrieve operations on a personalized bibliographic data file using a time-sharing computer or a mini-computer. It is shown that the program provides a convenient and economical way of cataloguing and accessing reference literature of interest to an individual or a small research group. The design philosophy of the program is briefly discussed, and examples of its operation are given"--Abstract.
