"The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has conducted annual survey research for strategic planning and reporting since 2005. The structure of the Annual Corporate Research (ACR) has undergone various changes over the years to reflect evolving corporate priorities, tax-related themes, and technological changes. An additional in-depth review of the methodology was conducted in 2025, with updates reflecting the latest evolution in corporate priorities, tax-related themes, and advancements in technology. In addition to modified contents, a methodological change was made to shift the survey component with the general population from telephone to online moving forward"--Research purpose and objectives, page 7.
