"This report presents the findings of the Evaluation of the Research and Knowledge Initiative (RKI), covering the period from November 2018 to July 2024. The purpose of the evaluation was to examine the relevance and effectiveness of the RKI program. It also examined lessons learned and promising practices from the RKI and similar research-focused programming in the federal government to inform future decision-making of research initiatives and programming at Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Canada (HICC), considering the department's expanded mandate"--Executive summary, page 4.
