Specifically, the analysis considers reconviction patterns among a cohort of adults released from provincial custody in 2016/2017 in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia, alongside the socioeconomic situations they were in prior to their incarceration and after their release.
