"Canada's National Strategy Respecting Environmental Racism and Environmental Justice (2026-2031). or "the Strategy", will guide the federal government and partners in advancing environmental justice (EJ) and addressing environmental racism (ER) across the country. As Canada works to build a strong economy, and create healthier more resilient communities, the Strategy aims to support more equitable benefits for affected communities. The Strategy is informed by analysis of the links between race, socio-economic status, and environmental risks, and considers measures to advance EJ"--What the Strategy is, page [6].
