This research paper summarizes the results of regional workshops that gathered the views of Canadian farm women about the critical issues that need to be addressed if Canada is to have a truly inclusive agricultural policy. The paper examines Canadian agricultural policy in the global context and the restructuring of agriculture in Canada. It summarizes the elements of an inclusive agricultural policy and outlines policy recommendations intended to achieve such a policy.
