The National DNA Data Bank - Annual Report 2006-2007
This annual report highlights the accomplishments of the National DNA Data Bank, and covers progress made in scientific techniques, legislative changes, and information sharing. It discusses the operation of the data bank and its two primary indices (convicted offender and crime scene), key statistics, and success stories. The data bank helps solve crimes by linking crimes where there are no suspects, helping to identify or eliminate suspects, and determining if there is a serial offender.
