The Canadian Arts and Heritage Sustainability Program (CAHSP) has provided some $160 million in grants and contributions to strengthen the organizational, administrative and financial effectiveness of cultural, arts and heritage organizations, and to celebrate and support Canadian communities’ achievements in arts and culture. The purpose of the evaluation was to permit the Minister of Canadian Heritage to report on the results of the Department’s arts and culture programs. The results of the evaluation will also be used as input into program renewal.
