Hydrological conditions for Atlantic salmon rivers in the Maritime provinces in 1998 / by D. Caissie.: Fs70-1/1999-189E-PDF

The objective of the present study is to analyse regional hydrological data for important Atlantic salmon rivers within the Maritimes Region for use in aquatic resource management. The specific objectives are: a) to provide an overview of the monthly precipitation and flow conditions for 7 rivers, b) to determine the high and low flow months of 1998, c) to determine the frequency of floods and low flow events in 1998, d) to identify abnormal streamflow events in the Maritimes Region, and e) to analyse data on high water temperature events for some Atlantic salmon rivers in the studied region.
