Federal Referendum Legislation .: YX76-E2/2010-PDF
This is an administrative consolidation of the 1992 Referendum Act (S.C. 1992, c. 30) and the Canada Elections Act as Adapted for the Purposes of a Referendum. It retains the right of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) (subsection 7[3] of the former Act) to propose regulations to apply it to a referendum, and it repeals and replaces the latter Act, along with its former amendments.
