Use of electronic surveillance - annual report : PS1-1

Canadian law enforcers can obtain judicial authorization to conduct electronic surveillance of private communications to assist in investigations of serious offences related to terrorism, drug and weapons trafficking, and organized crime. The report provides statistics for the preceding five years, a general assessment of the importance of electronic surveillance, and a listing of those who applied for judicial authorization during the year.
