Where and when youth commit police-reported crimes, 2008 / by Andrea Taylor-Butts. : CS85-002/30-7E-PDF

"To gain a better understanding of the nature of youth crime in Canada (i.e., crimes where the accused was a youth aged 12 to 17), it is useful to consider where and when these crimes occur. The Incident-based Uniform Crime Reporting Survey (UCR2) collects detailed information on police-reported criminal offences. Using information from the 2008 UCR2, this report examines the location, time of year, day of the week and time of day of crimes committed by youth that come to the attention of police"--Page 6.
