Preventing deceptive communications with electors : recommendations from the Chief Electoral Officer of Canada following the 41st general election.: SE3-78/2013

This report is in response to incidents that occurred during the 41st general election of May 2, 2011, involving deceptive communications with electors. The purpose of this first report is to examine preventive and enforcement measures that should be taken to deal with deceptive communications. While some of the measures proposed in the report are administrative, the majority require legislative changes.
