"The main objective of this survey was to obtain additional information regarding the presence and levels of undeclared allergens and gluten in protein substitutes/vegetarian meats, and simulated meat/poultry products. Of the 297 samples tested, 16 samples were found to contain undeclared gluten and allergens such as almond, egg, sesame, soy and milk proteins betalactoglobulin (BLG) and casein"--Executive summary, page 3.
